It’s a voluntary confidential space where couples who are separating or have separated can talk things through and make their own decisions about what’s best for their children, finances, and property.

Initial Consultation

  • Free 15 minute telephone call
  • Discuss the mediation process: What do you need help with? Childcare arrangements, finances and property or both?
  • Is mediation suitable for you?

Mediation Information & Assessment Meeting (MIAM)

  • 1 hour session either in person or online
  • Discuss your situation and concerns
  • Discuss principles of mediation and if it is the right route for you
  • If you wish to proceed, we contact the other party to arrange a time for their own MIAM.

Joint Mediation Sessions

  • 1.5 - 2 hour session either in person or online
  • Can take place with both parties together or in separate spaces
  • Brief written statement of decisions agreed upon and issues yet to be resolved.

Documentation

  • When you are satisfied that the mediation is complete, we can provide detailed documents reflecting your agreements.
  • Documents can be made legally binding by your solicitor.
Inclusive Support

Child Inclusive Mediation

Giving children a voice. Specially trained mediators can speak directly with children (where appropriate and with parental consent) to understand their feelings and wishes, ensuring their needs remain central to parental decisions.

payments Voucher Scheme

We participate in the Ministry of Justice Voucher Scheme, offering £500 towards mediation costs for eligible families discussing child arrangements.
