Pricing Structure

Mediation Fees

Service Fee What does it include?
Initial Consultation Free
  • 15 minute telephone call for you to discuss the mediation process and if it is suitable for you.
  • Book a MIAM.

MIAM 

(Mediation, Information and Assessment Meeting)

 £100 per person (online)

£125 per person (in person) plus room hire costs.
  • 1 hour
  • You discuss your situation and concerns in more detail.
  • The mediator will explain the mediation process and assess suitability of your case for joint mediation sessions.
Court forms £40
  • Signed by an FMC accredited mediator if you want to apply to court.
Joint Mediation Sessions For each session:

1 hour - £125 per person

1.5 hours £187.50 per person

2 hours - £250 per person

Online or In Person
  • The mediator will help keep your discussions focused and productive.
  • The mediator will provide a written confidential and without prejudice outcome statement after each session outlining the decisions you have made and an action list to remind you of enquiries to be made before the next session.
  • The mediator will provide a free signed court application form if mediation breaks down.
  • Referral to Child Inclusive Mediators (where applicable).
  • Information and signposting to other professionals who may be able to support you – like financial or legal advisers, pension specialists, and counsellors.
Preparation of final documents £125 per hour, per person
  • Comprehensive confidential and without prejudice documents detailing the joint decisions made during the mediation process. These may include:
    • Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
    • Open Financial Statement (OFS)
    • Parenting Plan
Cancellation policy for Mediation:
Appointments cancelled more than 48 hours in advance will be refunded in full (less any venue hire costs, if applicable). Refunds for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment is due will be at our discretion.

Cancellation policy for Counselling:
Appointments cancelled more than 48 hours in advance will be refunded in full (less any venue hire costs, if applicable). Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment is due will be charged at the full fee. If we cancel the appointment, we will offer to reschedule your appointment at a time that works for you, if this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.

 

Repeated Cancellations:
If you cancel multiple appointments, we will first seek to understand your reasons and explore alternative arrangements, such as adjusting the session frequency or timing. However, if repeated cancellations continue without a valid reason, we reserve the right to discontinue your sessions.

Payments:
All payments must be received 5 days in advance of a Mediation or Counselling Session to secure your booking. VAT is not applicable on our fees.

We believe cost should never be a barrier to justice or healing. We actively support government schemes to specific eligible clients.

Legal Aid Check

  • Available for those who pass capital and income tests.
  • We do not offer Legal Aid.

Ministry of Justice Family Mediation Voucher Scheme

  • Financial contribution of up to £500 to help families cover the costs of mediation sessions.
  • Families can apply for the voucher if they are involved in mediation arrangements involving a child.
  • Does not cover the cost of a MIAM.
